Bed and Breakfast "Tenuta Santa Giovanna" lies not far away from the town of Poggiardo, placed in a magnificent estate of seven hectares and only 5 minutes away from Castro and S. Ceserea Terme, 15 minutes from Otranto and Lecce and 30 minutes from Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca. The Bed & Breakfast is a crossroads between the countryside and the Mediterranean Sea, the starting point of an unforgettable vacation. The independent structure, recently restored and surrounded by prickly pears, olive, fig and almond trees, is the ideal place for those seeking hospitality, cordiality and contact with nature, far away from the confusion of touristy resorts. The olive grove, 600 hundred trees of the fine varieties known as “Leccino” and “Cellina”, provides a fine extravergin olive oil. The olives manually selected from the plant are brought to the oil mill and milled within twentyfour hours. The very low acidity and the high concentration of substances with antioxidant properties, guarantee a quality product, with different fruty aromas according to the variety.
